- 1). Obtain a deposit and withdrawal slip from your banking institution. They may also be found in the back of your check book.
- 2). Fill out your name, account number (if not printed on the slip) and the date on the withdrawal slip. Also write how much money you want to withdraw from one account to put in the other. Be sure to sign the slip to approve the withdrawal.
- 3). Write in your name, account number and date on the deposit slip. In the cash portion on the left, write the amount you "withdrew" to deposit in the second account.
- 4). Visit the bank and give the slips to the bank teller. Out of courtesy, inform the teller that you are making a transfer between accounts. This avoids extra work for the teller and avoids the physical exchange of money.
