- 1). The first thing you can do is to give the patio a good power washing. If your not able to use that type of equipment than a good old fashion bucket and scrub brush will do just fine. Years of dust and mildew tend to build up on outdoor apartment patio' s, scrubbing the walls and floor can make a big difference in the appearance.
- 2). After the patio dries off plant flowers either in the beds in front of it or hang baskets that will provide plenty of greenery. Climbing flowers look great because you can weave them through out the railings and up a trellace on your wall.
- 3). Wrap white lights around the railings or up and down the greenery as much as possible. Cheap Christmas lights that are outdoor work great for this project and add a totally different ambiance. Once the flowers are planted and the lights are up you can place your bistro set or patio furniture somewhere central. The area your sitting in should be able to view your gorgeous flower arrangements and lighting.
