- 1). Mix your Cool Edit music file or multitrack session down to an MP3 file. Select the "Mix Down" from the "File" menu to mix all of your tracks into one audio file if you are using a multitrack session. Select "Save As" from the "File" menu to save the file as an MP3. Choose "MPEG-3" or "MP3" from the file type drop-down menu in the "Save As" dialog before completing the file save.
- 2). Log in to your MySpace Music artist profile. Click "Sign-Up" from the MySpace main page to create a new artist profile if you do not already have one. Select "If you're a Musician" from the Profile Types box and enter your artist or band information into the ensuing sign-up prompts.
- 3). Choose "Edit Profile" from the "Profile" drop-down menu.
- 4). Select the "Manage Featured Songs" option.
- 5). Upload the Cool Edit music file to your MySpace Music profile or playlist. Select the "Add a Song" button from the bottom or top-right corner of the page to open the file browser dialog. Choose the Cool Edit music file from the browser and click "Upload."
