Garden Fountains - Transform Your Garden

A good water feature can really help to transform your garden and make it into something really special. Even if you have a small garden it is possible to get garden fountains which will help bring a sense of style and elegance to your outside space. There are lots of different styles which will range in size and price depending on your requirements; just some of the variations you can enjoy include garden fountains such as statues, ornamental plinths or contemporary designs.

You may be thinking that an outdoor garden fountain is not something that would be suitable for your garden; this is where you would be wrong. There is absolutely no work required in installing the fountains and the large ones will be put in place by the company you buy the fountain from. The small garden fountains only require some thought as to where you would like the fountain placed within your garden and In general there are a number of items your chosen garden fountain will come with and these include a pump and dcor kits. The pump is essential for moving the water around the fountain and the dcor kits are to provide additional styling to the garden fountains, it may be that the fountain you choose will not have a dcor kit depending on where you are buying from and which version you choose to purchase. If you do get a dcor kit with your fountain this will contain all the essential items for the installation which will include any pipe work, fittings and installation instructions. It is likely the dcor kit will only come with the large or super garden fountains and will give you a choice to whether you do the installation yourself or instruct workmen to carry out the installation.

For the small garden fountains they are extremely easy to install and do not require any plumbing or tricky installation. The design of the fountains enables the pump to be out of view, usually in the base, if the pump is mains operated then it will be necessary to run the cabling inside the house to get the power to the pump. It is often today the pumps are solar powered and this has a number of advantages for the owner and will reduce the need for the cabling to be run. Other than the pump there are no more parts which require power so you can then just add the water to the fountains basin and switch on the pump and you are ready to enjoy your new garden fountain. The garden fountains are very easy to maintain and require little effort to keep them running in your garden, the only regular job will be to check the water level in the basin to make sure there is enough to move around the fountain. Other than that you can sit back, relax and let the soothing sounds of the water and the wonderful look of the fountain give you enjoyment for many years.
