Help For Premature Ejaculation - 13 Ways To Improve How Long You Last

  1. Reduce stress and anxiety.

    These exercises can strengthen your pubococcygeus muscles which can help with premature ejaculation.
  3. Have a go at the 'Start-Stop' method.
    This is a very basic technique that you can practice on your own or with a partner.
    What you need to do is to stimulate your penis and then stop before you climax.
    After a few minutes have passed you can repeat this step around ten times.
    You will need to practice this over a few months.
  4. Think long and slow in regards to masturbation.
    Most guys don't take the time to fully appreciate the experience of masturbation.
    This is a shame as simply 'knocking out a quick one' can often be the cause of many a guys premature ejaculation.
    Try taking 20 minutes before you ejaculate and you will soon retrain yourself to last longer.
  5. Try different positions.
    It is well known that the most commonly used sexual position is the missionary, however this may not be too great for you if you suffer from premature ejaculation.
    Its all to do with the pressure that you are placing on the muscles around your penis.
    Try having your partner on top, the 'spooning' position or rear entry as these positions take pressure off those all important muscles.
  6. Have a go at the 'Squeeze Technique'.
    Simply this is a method where you gently, but firmly squeeze the point just below the tip of your penis when you are about to ejaculate.
    Squeeze for around 15-20 seconds and then release.
  7. Think about trying a condom.
    Wearing a condom can somewhat desensitize the head of your penis which will allow you to last for longer.
  8. Try masturbating first.
    Many guys swear by masturbating about 45 minutes to an hour before having sex with your partner.
    There is a very obvious reason that this may work, but it may also work to relax you.
  9. Open up about your problem.
    Sometimes talking with a supportive partner about your premature ejaculation can take the pressure off and help you to relax.
  10. Have sex in the morning.
    It's a well known fact that guys perform better on average in the morning than they do later in the day.
    Maybe this is because they are more relaxed and well rested.
  11. Be healthy! This one is a bit of an 'all rounder' but looking after yourself and give you a better sense of well-being.
    This in turn will lead to a healthy and happier you in general.
  12. Once you have penetrated your partner try to only gently thrust.
    Try to allow your penis to go in and out only and inch at a time.
  13. Work hard on foreplay.
    The more aroused your partner is the more lubricating fluid she will produce and then larger the opening of her vagina will be.
    This means less friction which equals a better chance of you not ejaculating too early.
Most of all, try not to be hard on yourself! Too many guys beat themselves up over premature ejaculation.
These tend to be the guys that feel that nothing can be done.
