- 1). Adjust the safety harness included with the brush cutter so that it fits your body properly.
- 2). Inspect the area to ensure all animals and people are at least 10 yards from the brush cutter before beginning work.
- 3). Place the brush mower on firm ground and start the engine, placing one hand on the brush mower handle and the other on the engine starter.
- 4). Position your feet on firm ground and slowly swing the brush cutter back and forth while walking forward. Do not force the cutter against materials, rather let it cut slowly.
