- 1). Click the "Norton 360" icon on your computer's "Desktop" to start the application. If you don't have a Norton 360 icon your "Desktop," click "Start," "All Programs," and the folder labeled "Norton 360." Click the "Norton 360" icon inside of the folder to start the application (both the folder and application icon are named Norton 360).
- 2). Click the "Tasks & Settings" link in the upper right-hand corner. Click the "Check for Updates" link under the "General Tasks" heading to run LiveUpdate manually. The utility will access the Internet and download any updates/patches, if any are available.
- 3). Click "Close" to exit the "Tasks & Settings" dialog box.
