Teacher is accused of using Facebook to lure student into a sexual affair.
Heather Lynne Zeo, 37, married mother of three, was a math teacher at North Penn High School in Lansdale, PA, prior to her May 21, 2009, arrest for having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student.
Police reported that allegedly Zeo initiated contact with the boy through Facebook and that the two were involved in sex chat. According to the boy the sexual relations took place in Zeo's classroom and car.
Zeo admitted the relationship to the police.
Another boy told police that he also had sexual conversations with Zeo on Facebook and that she indicated that she would have sex with him and told him to come to her classroom which he never did.
Along with teaching Zeo marketed herself as a Christian singer who has two CDs - "Light as a Feather" released in 2003 and "Musically Math" released in 2008.
Update: On May 10, 2010 Zeo pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of corruption of minors. She was sentence in August 2010 to one to 23 months in prison.
