Autoresponders are remarkable but how can I make full use of it? Here are some useful ways to use an autoresponder: • Separate each group of people who have opted-in to your list into a different list so there is confusion.
For example, you might have articles about dog food, dog leashes, dog training, etc and each article has a link its own squeeze page.
Now you can send each list a separate group of email messages.
• All of your articles might have a general theme, in this case, dogs.
However, each of your article topics have specific interested readers - people who want information about dog food may not care about dog training so if you send all of them the same email, many folks will opt-out of your list, probably gone forever.
That's why separate lists are so important - your autoresponder keeps track of everything for you so there is no confusion.
• Your autoresponder allows you to send out pre-written emails that are stored for a specific mail-out day.
But, since you have subscribers signing up daily, each person will have a while to wait until they get the number 15 email.
• So, if you want, you have the ability to broadcast a specific email message to your entire list on a specific day.
Suppose you have a sale for this Wednesday.
You can send out emails to your entire list telling them of the sale, all at the same time and continue to remind them of the sale until it's over, again automatically -- what a marvelous tool.
