- 1). Open the "Bob-omb Derby" mini-game under the "Star" difficulty level. Use charge swings to hit home runs. Earn points based on the number of home runs hit and the distance of the home runs. Get bonus points for hitting consecutive home runs.
- 2). Open the "Wall Ball" mini-game under the "Star" difficulty level. Use charge pitches to break walls, being careful to only break walls with a musical symbol on them and to avoid walls with the "Bowser" symbol.
- 3). Open the "Chain Chomp Sprint" mini-game under the "Star" difficulty level. Collect gems while the Chain Chomp sleeps within the allotted time. Remain still while Chain Chomp is awake. Use the "X" button to stop while moving counterclockwise and the "Y" button to stop while moving clockwise.
- 4). Open the "Piranha Panic" mini-game under the "Star" difficulty level. Use eggs to push back the Piranha Plants and earn points for hitting them with eggs of their same color. Earn points by hitting the Piranha Plants with Bob-ombs. Press the control stick down to duck. Press the control stick up, left or right to throw eggs or Bob-ombs. Press the "B" button to drop eggs or Bob-ombs.
- 5). Open the "Barrel Batter" mini-game under the "Star" difficulty level. Hit balls into barrels to break them. Break a barrel when an adjacent barrel is of the same color will cause the adjacent barrel to also break. Build up your barrel gauge using this method, and then break the bonus barrel that appears with your next hit, causing all barrels to break.
