- 1). Spread the tailcoat onto a table or other flat surface. Turn the collar up. Cut a piece of black fabric to fit over the inside of the coat like a second lining. Turn the raw edges of the fabric under and sew the black fabric inside the coat.
- 2). Cut any buttons off of the coat. Trim the front of the coat so that it rests just above the naval. Do not trim the back of the coat at all. Cut off any lapels below the collar around the neck. Fold the raw edges under and sew a new hem on the coat.
- 3). Cut a thin, black ribbon long enough to add to all hems on the tailcoat. Fold the ribbon over the hem and sew into place. Add the ribbon to the front of the coat, the cuffs and the tails.
- 4). Cut a rectangle of white fabric wide enough to wrap around your waist just above the navel. Add 1 inch for a seam allowance. Make the rectangle long enough to reach to the floor.
- 5). Hem all raw edges of the fabric. Cut a long, 8-inch-thick rectangle from the black fabric long enough to wrap around your waist two to three times.
- 6). Part your hair in the middle. Spray one half of your hair white and the other half black. Paint your fingernails black.
- 7). Put on the white skirt. Use a safety pin to hold the skirt closed. Wrap the black sash around your waist. Allow the top of the skirt to peek over the top of the belt. Put the tailcoat on over the skirt. Pop the collar of the tailcoat up like a vampire's cape. Paint two blue lines down from the center of your eyes to your chin.
