Strawberry tea can mean tea flavored with strawberry or blended with bits of strawberry. However, like cream tea, it can also refer to a light afternoon tea meal. Cream tea is made up of scones and tea. Strawberry tea is similar, but it also features fresh strawberries. Traditionally, strawberry tea parties were held during strawberry harvesting season.
Some modern strawberry tea parties include additional foods, like strawberry cakes and strawberry trifles.
