- 1). Grasp the shrub head sprinkler in your hand. Turn the center cap to the right as far as it can go, then turn it all the way to the left. This aligns the sprinkler head to the beginning point of the sprinkler cycle.
- 2). Insert a screwdriver into the arc adjustment screw on top of the sprinkler head. Turn the screw fractionally counterclockwise to decrease the arc of the sprinkler head. Alternatively, turn the screw clockwise in small increments to increase the arc.
- 3). Adjust the radius, or the distance the water goes by turning the radius screw on top of the sprinkler head. Turn the screw counterclockwise to decrease the radius and clockwise to increase it.
