Erect Fencing
- 1). Dig post holes at least 10 inches deep at regular intervals around the area to be fenced. Fill the holes halfway with cement. Insert each post vertically into a hole, and fill with more cement.
- 2). Dig a 10-inch deep trench between the post holes for the line of mesh fence.
- 3). Attach the end of a roll of mesh to the first pole, and staple it securely in place. Fix and staple to the next pole, pulling taut. Continue around the garden.
- 4). Backfill the trench so the bottom 10 inches of the fence are below ground, providing a barrier against tunneling rabbits.
