Hi, I'm Carla Kay, Celebrity Manicurist. Today, I'm going to show you how to mattify your nail polish. One of the popular trends we're seeing today even on red carpet is the matte finish look. So, on Angela, I'm going to use Matte About You by Essie. So, I'm going to apply the Matte About You matte finish and you're actually going to see the shine of her nails disappear and you will get the matte effect you're looking for. You can actually use the Matte About You on top of any nail polish to get the matte effect. There it is, see the shine is already gone away into a matte look. What's great about this matte look, it definitely has some edge to it especially if you were to choose like a black or a blue or a purple, you can get the gun metal out of a black by mattifying it.
