Trying To Get Pregnant With A Boy Baby? These Tips Will Help

I often get emails from women who think that they can't conceive a boy – either because only girls seem to run in their family, they've already had daughters, or girls run in their husband's family.  These things don't have to mean that you won't be successful in getting a boy baby or a son.  It just means that there are a few things that you'll need to look at, address, and adjust as needed.  I'll go over these things in the following article.

Take A Close Look At When You're Trying To Conceive: Before I get into specifics, I want you to know that the Y sperm chromosomes that produce a boy are fast but weak.  This is very important to understand because every tip that I give you in this article is going to be based on minimizing this.  In order to successfully conceive a boy, you'll need to make sure that the boy sperm spends as little time as possible in your vaginal tract and that it is met with a friendly, non hostile environment.

With that said, you need to conceive as close to ovulation as possible.  You can't afford for the weak and vulnerable Y sperm to have to wait (deteriorating and weakening the whole time) for the egg.  So, make sure that you have a reliable way to tell exactly when you ovulate and use it.  I like saliva ovulation predictors for this as you can use them any time during the day and you can use them over and over.  This allows you to see even small changes that can be an important tip off to get ready.   Aim for the day or or the day after ovulation.  Any earlier than this gives these weak little fellows too much time to die off.

Understand The Importance Of How You Try To Conceive A Boy:  Many people try to conceive by just having intercourse as many times as they can in any way that they want in their "fertility window."  This is sort of like throwing darts at a dart board and hoping that one of them sticks.  If you want a boy, this isn't the best way to go.  Really concentrate on the correct day in the correct way.  You'll want to use sexual positions that allow you to get the sperm deep within the vaginal tract (deep penetration.)  It's pretty well known which positions will accomplish this, but many are rear entry, female on top, or have the woman lifting her legs or her pelvis (a pillow can help.)

Take A Close Look At Your Acidity And PH.  Are You Too Acidic To Conceive A Boy?: If I were asked what is the first thing that I would look at in a woman that was unable to conceive a son, it would be the mom-to-be's acidity and PH.  I firmly believe that when boys run in families, the women in the same family are likely to be genetically acidic and therefore have a reproductive tract that is hostile to the boy producing sperm. You can easily test this theory by testing you PH with saliva strips that you can get on line or at nutrition centers.  If you do find this to be true, don't worry, you can change it.

There are a few ways to go about this.  The first is by going on an alkaline diet in which you will limit yourself to foods with a low PH.  Acidic foods will be off limits for a while, or at least until your PH readings start to come way down.  The second way to become more alkaline is through douching.  How strong you'll need to make the solution will depend on your reading at the time.  But, you can continue to test to see how you are progressing and you can combine both methods if you want faster results or need a more dramatic turn around.

It's also very important to remember that you will address all of these things.  It's truly a waste to use the right sexual positions only to conceive too early or without first lowering your PH.

Conceive A Boy is a website I set up to make the process of having a son a bit easier. I've included step by step instructions and resources for the douching recipes, food lists, and PH testing strips mentioned in this article as well as hints, tips, and support.
