The Natural Labor Companion CD by Earth Mama Angel Baby has three tracks that are designed to help prepare you for labor. The goal of these well-done tracks is to teach you to use tools you have to promote relax and reduce pain naturally. This can be used to aid in natural childbirth but also in conjunction with other reliving techniques including medications, even epidural anesthesia.
The soothing tracks are about 20 minutes in length making them sensitive to the issues of time management facing many mothers-to-be today. This can easily be incorporated into your daily life throughout pregnancy, but particularly in the third trimester. Who couldn't use a bit of stress reduction?
With three tracks to choose from, it's definitely something you won't get bored with, no matter how early you start with the visualizations and relaxation practice.
I found the words very easy to follow and very little distraction in the tracks.
This is a great baby shower or blessingway gift for a pregnant mom. Hopefully your doctor, midwife, doula or childbirth educator has a set in their lending library. Though I can promise that after hearing it you'll want to have one of your own.
