- 1). Determine whether the measurement is standard or metric. Convert centimeters to inches by multiplying by 0.39.
- 2). Read the first number in the measurement as the circumference in inches around the breasts at their fullest point. Some measurements may incorporate a letter from A to D; this indicates the ratio in inches of breast circumference to the circumference of the ribcage just below the breasts. For example, an A-cup is one inch, a B-cup is two and so forth.
- 3). Read the second number as the waist circumference an inch above navel level.
- 4). Read the final number as the hip measurement around the fullest point of the buttocks.
