How to Grow Aeonium Arboreum

    • 1). Choose a container that has holes in the bottom to prevent overwatering. The container should be large enough to hold the desired number of Aeonium arboreum plants without crowding.

    • 2). Fill the container with a growing mixture consisting of 2 parts sand, 1 part loam, 1 part peat moss and a handful of pea gravel.

    • 3). Place the roots of Aeonium arboreum into the growing mix at their prior level. Add just enough water to barely moisten the growing mix.

    • 4). Situate the container in a spot that receives full sun.

    • 5). Add moisture when the top inch of the growing mix is dry during the growing season.

    • 6). Feed once in spring with balanced fertilizer. Read the product package instructions to determine the right amount, as it varies between products.

    • 7). Moisten the growing mix lightly once each month during winter, when Aeonium arboreum isn't actively growing.
