- 1). Call MoneyGram's customer service at 1-800-542-3590.
- 2). Select the option to "Check Transaction Status."
- 3). Enter the money order reference number when prompted.
- 4). Enter the exact dollar amount of the money order when prompted. The automated system will offer the status of the transaction and indicate whether the recipient has picked up the MoneyGram.
- 1). Log in to your MoneyGram account online.
- 2). Enter a username and password in the corresponding fields.
- 3). Select the MoneyGram transaction you want to verify to display the status of the transaction.
- 1). Go to a local MoneyGram location.
- 2). Give the representative your MoneyGram transaction number.
- 3). Request the status of the transaction.
- 4). Show your state-issued driver's license, U.S. passport or military ID. The representative will look up the transaction and tell you whether or not the recipient has picked it up.
