Do You Want To Learn The Making Of Candles?

Learning the making of candles can be a fun task and not to mention a profitable one to.
In this article today I will be teaching you how you can make your very own candles, so sit back relax and let's learn how to make candles.
Before We Get Started With The Making Of Candles We Are Going To Need The Following Items Some candle wicks Paraffin Wax Candle Molds (You can use shot glasses or drinking glasses) Candle dyes in various colors (You can also use old candles or left over wax) A Shallow Tray One large and one medium cooking pot A cookie cuter It's Now Time To Start The Making Of Candles Firstly you will need to prepare your chunks of wax.
You can use leftover chunks from other candles or you can make new ones by melting new wax.
To do this you are going to take your larger pot and place it onto the stove.
Set the stoves temperature to medium to high and place your cookie cuter inside the large pot.
You are going to pour about 2 inches of water into the pot and let it being to boil.
When the water begins to boil you will place the medium pot inside the large pot, now take your paraffin wax and place it inside the medium pot and allow it to melt.
When the wax is melted you will switch of the stove and add the color dye of your choice.
Once done you are going to pour the wax into a shallow pan and allow it to set.
You can use either single-colored or multi-colored chunks of wax.
Next you are going to have to prepare your mold by spraying it with oil and placing the candle wick in the center.
Then you are going to fill up you mold with the desired chunks of wax.
You can also cut your chunks of wax into different shapes to give your candles more character or just leave them as they are it's totally up to you.
Next you are going to melt the plane candle wax (This will be used as the filling wax to hold the chunks together) using the steps above and once complete you will add the plane wax to the mold.
You are going to have to allow the candle to cool down for a couple of hours.
After the candle has set and cooled down you can remove it from the mold and trim the wick to the right size.
Congratulations you have just completed your very first candle but don't let this be the last of the making of candles feel free to experiment with different colors sizes and shapes.
