Cut black chenille stem into two 2-inch pieces; bend into legs and feet. Glue to a pine cone on opposite sides at the middle. For tail, cut red and orange thick-and-thin stems into 2-inch pieces.
Wrap thin ends together with longest stem; fan out. Glue pointing upward at cone's base. Cut a 5-inch piece from an orange stem; fold in half, then bend again to shape head. Glue at cone's top.
