- 1). Pour your Kombucha tea into an air tight food container. You may use a glass container with a lid or any food grade plastic container. Make sure the container can be covered with a secure lid, such as a screw-on lid or snap-on lid.
- 2). Label your tea with the date that it was made. This will help you identify the expiration date, especially if you plan on making more than one batch.
- 3). Place your containers in a cool place such as the refrigerator or in a cellar or basement. Keep your Kombucha tea at room temperature for up to two weeks. Store in the refrigerator for five months and store in the freezer for up to one year.
