- 1). Open a window or turn on the air conditioner to keep the air circulating while using acetone.
- 2). Pour ¼ tsp. of acetone onto the dried glue.
- 3). Scrape at the dried glue using a plastic spatula or knife. Wipe away the excess glue.
- 4). Reapply acetone to the spot. Rub at the spot until the glue is gone.
- 1). Dab a toothbrush in the acetone to dampen it.
- 2). Rub the glued-on fabric with the toothbrush several times.
- 3). Turn the fabric over and rub the back of the fabric.
- 4). Reapply the acetone until the stain is gone. Wash the fabric and dry it as usual.
