- 1). Wander around until you find a chicken. All chickens lay eggs, though they do so randomly. Sometimes it can take a few minutes for it to produce its first egg. Follow the chicken until it lays an egg.
- 2). Step on the egg to pick it up.
- 3). Open your inventory and equip the egg.
- 4). Right-click to throw the egg. When it hits the ground, there's a 25-percent chance that it will spawn a new chicken.
