Choose the Right LED Grow Lights" Color

Choosing the right kind LED grow lights' is extremely important for every purchaser because every light is used for different plants and flowers, so depending on the plant that the person wants to grow, he should select the correct light for his use.

First of all, every purchaser must recognize the low quality light from the high quality lights. The low quality can produce such medium heat as to allow the seedlings to grow only and not the plant for that matter. Then you should be aware of the light color you need to get for your plants. Mostly people consider white and green color lights to be essential for the growth of the plants, but this is a very wrong concept because green light is always reflected by the plants because of the green chlorophyll and white light does not contain enough energy as to help the plant to make its food. The best colors for the growth of every plant are blue and red. These colors help the most in photosynthesis.

Other colors of LED grow lights are also useful for plants but they alone cannot give enough energy and heat to help in photosynthesis. Others color lights need to be in combination of 2 to 3 colors to make the procedure happen properly. If anyone is trying to grow herbs and vegetables only, then he should use blue LED's only, because these give strength to the roots and the stems to grow vigorously. The leafs also take more energy from blue light as compared to other colored lights because blue color helps to fight diseases, so it keeps the plant healthy to grow more quickly.

The red LED grow lights are used mostly for growing fruits and flowers at the maximum pace but with all the health required by the plants. The red color, being similar to autumn season, indicates to the plants to produce seeds in the form of flowers and fruits. This color is highly beneficial for the growing of fruit plants because the red color gives out the most energy and heat to help the plant to build into a strong one.

The combination of these color lights is also useful for the growth of plants but not to that extent that every plant will definitely need a double spectrum or a tri-band spectrum. These combination are only made to bring variety and create a range of color lights in use. The most common is the combination of red, blue and orange light, which is used for every plant. Various other combination like that of red, white and pink, or of blue, white and yellow are also useful for fruits and flowers or herbs and vegetable respectively.

The LLED grow lights are available in varying sizes according to the amount of plants needed to be grown. The size of these lights range from 3mm to 10mm, with the smaller ones used for a small bundle of plants, while the bigger light for the larger bundle. But one should always remember to never to use the larger size of light for a smaller bundle to make the plants grow quickly, because it will only damage the plants and flowers.
