Resistance Online Play Secrets

    • The game series "Resistance: Fall of Man" is a first-person shooter following mankind's fight against an evil alienlike race, the Chimera. The online mode lets you play with or against friends in a fast-paced online mode with many unlockable secrets and bonuses for play. Play long enough, and you may unlock all of the game's online secrets.

    Registering Online

    • Go to the Resistance website (link under Resources), and sign up for an account. After doing so, you will get an online code. Go into the game, select "Equipment Loadout," and enter the code when prompted. In return, you unlock the Cloven Skin, which you can use on your character in online games.

    Ranking Up

    • Every few levels in game, you unlock new parts and skins for your character, letting you design how your character appears online. When you begin your online game, for example, you unlock "Private" status and receive the US Soldier Body, Heads 1 and 2, a Small Helmet, an American Standard Uniform and the Dirty version of that Uniform. You unlock new equipment every three levels until you reach Level 60. Level 60 players unlock the Nathan Hale skin, Belt packs, a shovel and a backpack.

    Online Badges

    • Playing online earns you a number of badges for various accomplishments. If you complete 1,000 matches online, you earn the "Fanatic" badge, while 5,000 gets you the "Insomniac" bade. Kill 10 foes in a row online, and you earn the "Elite Soldier" distinction, 20 will earn you the "Assassin" badge. If you kill 100 enemies with each of the game's weapons, you receive a badge for each of the weapons, and the "Up your Arsenal" badge once you've used all of them.

One hundred stealth kills earns you the "ghost" badge. You earn the "Precise Shot" and "Unerring Aim" badges by ending a level with 85 percent accuracy 10 and 20 times, respectively. Thirty and 60 melee kills earn you the "Martial Artist" and "Ninja" badges, respectively.

    Air Fuel Grenades

    • You can control when your air fuel grenades explode by pressing and holding the "Circle" button to throw the grenade, and releasing it when you want the explosive to go off. This is really useful for setting up booby traps and attacking people; you can set the bomb off when someone is walking by it.
