Beat The Landscaping Rush As A Planner For Your Landscaping Project

There are basically two types of landscaping clients in the landscape trade. One is the sense of urgency customer who want to have their landscaping needs installed during the prime landscaping months, which is usually the months from April through August. They want their project finished before 4th of July, Memorial weekend, graduation parties, and of course just having finished landscape projects before the drizzly late fall and cold winter periods set in. Over the years my experience is that there is huge flush of landscape estimates in the months of April and May. If only a little planning took place, the panic driven spring torrent of  estimating landscape projects would be quite a bit more orderly. Which leads me to the other type of landscape client

The other type of landscape client is the planner. Planners tend to take more time to think about their project and usually want a landscape design before the landscape estimates happen. Planners also take the time to study specific landscape contractors by looking at the landscapers websites thoroughly, they check out customer testimonials, verify license, bond and insurance, and note commendation and certificates the landscaper may have. Planners tend not to be in a hurry to install the landscaping and want to make sure the landscape company is a professional landscaper and will work with them closely on your landscaping projects.

If you are thinking of getting some landscaping done? A good start is to be a planner. You are going to lessen the sense of urgency in trying to get landscape estimates and the landscaping done in the spring and summer months. You will have a definite plan of what's going to get installed and be able to find a landscape contractor who you feel you can work with without all the panic of finding a qualified landscaper you can work with. As they say the early bird gets the worm. Don't wait until the last minute and be disapointed with the timing on your landscape projects.
