- 1). Snip a 16-inch length of wire from the roll. Choose either black, chrome or copper wire of the thinnest gauge. You can also choose vibrant fashion colors. Like other jewelry supplies this wire is found in craft and hobby supply stores.
- 2). Tie one end of the length of wire to a ring finding. Secure the knot of the tie with a small dot of hot glue. Let it dry for two minutes before proceeding.
- 3). Slide about eight inches worth of ivory seed beads down the length of the wire. Seed beads are tiny, so for eight inches you may need around 40 or 50 beads.
- 4). Slide a medium- to large-sized charm down the length of the wire, allowing it to rest atop the eight-inch row of beads. Choose any type of charm or pendant such as a cross, butterfly or a large carved ivory bead.
- 5). Layer another eight inches worth of seed beads down the wire, allowing them to rest atop the charm.
- 6). Tie the free end of the beaded wire to a jewelry finding that connects to the ring finding, such as a lobster clasp or hook clasp. Secure the knot with a small dot of hot glue, allowing it to dry for two minutes before wearing.
