Women's Day 2 Final Results
Junior Kyla Ross established herself as a future star with her second straight all-around title in 2010. She also earned the beam title, and was third on vault and floor.
Also of note: McKayla Maroney won vault by an enormous .800 margin -- and would go on to win two world vault titles and the Olympic silver medal on that same event.
And Gabby Douglas, fourth best in the all-around as a junior in 2010, was just beginning her enormous jump to the top of the sport. In 2012, Douglas became Olympic all-around champion, and Maroney and Ross were her Olympic teammates on the US squad that won gold as well.

What's a junior gymnast?
Gymnasts become "senior" competitors on Jan. 1 of the year they'll turn 16. (So, any gymnast born in 2000 will be eligible for senior competition in 2016.) Gymnasts younger than this compete in the "junior" category. Usually these gymnasts are aged 12-15.
