Finally the much awaited and anticipated movie of 2010, Kites released worldwide in almost 60 countries.
The whole team of kites has promised an honest film and they have kept it.
THE STORY: The movie is an honest attempt on a love story that ignites between a Spanish woman named 'Linda' and an American man named just 'J'.
The character 'J' portrayed almost perfectly by Hrithik roshan, is a dance teacher and also marry women who are in search of a green card in Los Vegas for money only.
And Linda played by Barbara mori is one of these women whom 'J' marries for money.
'J' wants to marry Kangana ranaut for money as she is the daughter of the owner of the biggest casino in Los Vegas played by kabir bedi.
At his home he again meets Barbara who is getting married to tony, kangana's brother, also for the sake of money.
At this point the love ignites between them although they don't know each other's language.
But the problem is that they are getting married to different persons and they are very dangerous.
So they have to choose between love and money plus power.
As they say love should have no strings attached, the two broke free and decided to run away taking 2 millions with them from the casino of kabir bedi.
Then the chase begins and finally the two had to die.
THE PERFORMANCES: All performances are good but hey when there is hrithik in movie you just can't outshine him.
He is just awesome in his character.
He is outstanding in every aspect of his role whether dancing like a snake, romancing the heroine, in action everywhere.
Barabara is good too and managed to match with hrithik.
All other cast supported the two well.
THE REVIEW: The movie is just awesome having its soul at the right place.
The chemistry between the two is brilliant and it makes you laugh and cry with the film.
The story is very simple but simplicity is beautiful.
The chase is just breath taking as the stunts are too good.
The direction, cinematography and the locations are brilliant also.
The music is original and very lovable.
The movie sure has an international appeal and will be a hit in other nations too.
The last scene of the movie tells you that the movie is made with pure honesty and true love in mind.
THE VERDICT: This is a must watch for everyone for its simplicity and honesty and also the international look.
But it is not a crowd's movie, you may or may not like it as everyone don't want to see the truth as simply and soberly as this movie tells.
