- 1). Right-click the song file and then click “Open With.” A list of installed programs opens.
- 2). Click the “Audacity” option. The song file opens in Audacity. A wave frequency window opens and the channels are displayed in the lower portion of the interface.
- 3). Click the “Mute” button on the "Beats" channel. The beats are muted, but the channel is left intact.
- 4). Click the “X” in the top-left corner of the channel's "Properties" box to delete the track from the project.
- 5). Click the “File” option and then click “Save” to save your changes.
