- 1). Unplug your Crate Palomino V32 from the wall socket.
- 2). Turn the unit so you're facing the back panel.
- 3). Remove the screws on the back panel with the Phillips screwdriver.
- 4). Remove the back panel to expose the row of glass vacuum tubes inside the amp.
- 5). Unscrew each of the screws from their sockets and wipe them down with a microfiber cloth.
- 6). Blow into the sockets with a can of compressed air. This will clear any dust or debris from the sockets which could be the reason your tubes are overheating.
- 7). Replace the tubes in the sockets.
- 8). Drill or cut ventilation holes into the back panel of the amp.
- 9). Replace the back panel and screws.
