What to Expect During the First Trimester of Your Pregnancy

Being pregnant is a different feeling all together.
There is a variety of expressions and feeling which one experiences when that pregnancy test comes out to be positive.
And then starts the journey of becoming a mother.
Pregnancy experience can be different for different women.
For some, it is very enjoyable as far as the first trimester is concerned and for some it can be of mixed feeling.
When I talk about mixed feelings then it is about mixture of suffering and happiness of becoming mother.
There are many women who start experiencing morning sickness in the first trimester itself.
Many women go through the pain of swollen breasts and headiness.
Along comes loads of mood swings situations wherein the pregnant woman is unable to understand the reason herself for her actions and behavior.
As far as physical appearance goes, there is not much difference or change in it.
During the first trimester of pregnancy, women usually do not gain a lot of weight.
Many old wives tales talk about the new glow on face but then it happens only after the initial three months.
Once a woman acknowledges that she has missed her periods, she should wait for a week or so and then visit a gynecologist.
There are many credible home kits available in the market now - a - days which can confirm whether you are pregnant or not.
They are pretty accurate.
Post confirmation from a home kit, one can go and visit the doctor.
On confirmation, doctor will usually start the vitamins and essential add on supplements in your diet.
Also, some tests are required which will be prescribed by the doctor.
By the time, a woman reaches the third month, she experiences urination problems.
Frequent visits to the washroom can be tiresome but they will stay there for a while now.
The reason is that with increase in the size of your fetus (yes, your baby is called fetus till the end of initial three months) constant pressure is maintained on the urine bladder which results in frequent urination tours.
Tiredness during the day, morning sickness, headiness, frequents urine trips are some things which most of the women experience at this time.
These are well expected things.
But then, with all this comes the strong and powerful feeling of motherhood.
No need o worry about the weight as it will almost remain same for this time period.
Enjoy your husband's attention and just pamper yourself.
