When these two medicines are taken together, the antibiotic may cause the live vaccine to not work as well.

The effects of your antibiotic may make the vaccine ineffective.

Before receiving a vaccination, let your doctor know if you are taking any antibiotics.Your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicine before checking with them first.
