It will be a standalone version which will be available for purchase separately.

The game will feature single player as well as multiplayer modes.
This is going to be a 2 player co-op multiplayer mode where players across the LANs can ally to compete against opponents.
Developers have just tried to make the best use of Portal game engine through this game.
Many new Puzzles have been introduced in Portal 2 PC version.
There is a dynamic new character cast as well.
Moreover, it lets you go through the never seen before experience of the Aperture Labs which has larger set of devious test chambers.
Another good thing about the game is that the players can reunite with GlaDOS in the single player mode.
GLaDOS guided the players through the first game and is usually referred to as a muderous companion.
Well this facility is not available in the multiplayer mode as that one is totally different.
