Hi, my name is Marija. I'm a mathematician, and today I'm going to show you how to convert 72 degrees Fahrenheit into Kelvin units. So the first thing we need to know is the formula for conversion. So the temperature in Kelvin is going to be equal to 5/9ths times the temperature in Fahrenheit plus 460. So now if I wanted to convert 72 degrees Fahrenheit, all I have to do is substitute the F with the Fahrenheit degrees which in this case is 72. We're going to bring down everything else so the temperature in Kelvin is equivalent to 5/9ths times 72 plus 460 and now I'm just going to add inside of my parentheses. So I get 460 plus 72 which is going to give me 460 and 72, 2, 13, 5, 32 and now I have to multiply and to multiply this I'm going to cheat and use my calculator and get 296 Kelvin units. So to convert 72 Fahrenheit all I did was substitute the 72 into the formula, 5/9ths of F plus 460, I added what was inside of the parentheses, I multiplied in a calculator by 5/9ths and I got approximately 296 Kelvin units. My name is Marija, and I just showed you how to convert 72 Fahrenheit into Kelvin.
