Using the Service

• To use the service offered by CBW Productions, the messages you want to record to CD must still be saved in your voice mail. You have to supply CBW Productions with your voice mail box number and password. For a fee ($10 for the first message, and $5 for each additional message as of October 2010) the company's engineers will dub your voice mail messages to CD for you.
  
  

Do It Yourself

• If you'd rather not pay a service to record your voice mails, or if you don't feel comfortable giving out your voice mail box number and password to a third-party company, it's easy enough to record the messages to CD yourself. You will, however, need to invest in the necessary equipment.
  
  

Equipment Needed

• The most important piece of equipment needed is a telephone recording adapter. The adapter allows you to send audio from a phone line to a stereo receiver. You can either use a CD recorder or a computer equipped with a CD burner and audio recording software as the stereo receiver.
