Brokers as in the general term means someone who would make an agreement between two mitigating parties for a fee from the party who has approached him. The essential work of the broker is to bring both the parties to an agreement and then make them reconcile or buy something or settle something for a price and he may be paid compensation for his services in cash or kind. After that is done, then the broker needs to approach the bank and get the application form filled up on behalf of the borrower and get all the necessary documents in order. After everything is done, then the person gets his mortgage and the mortgage broker his commission.
