  Moccasins is a Native American term that means "shoe". The original design of moccasins were U-shaped and puckered. Made of deerskin or other leather, the shoes were like a form-fitting, tough sock. The shoe has maintained much of its early design. Moccasins feel like a slipper.   Lightweight lace-up shoes are comfortable everyday shoes. Athletic or tennis shoes are also comfortable and are usually used for sport, but are a favored everyday shoe. There are many lace-ups available in leather or canvas. For some men and women designs, low-heeled and soft leather or man-made material shoe are suitable for walking around. Aside from the athletic shoes, other lace-up shoes function well as a semi-dress shoe while maintaining comfort. The durability make them a suitable choice.
