Blind dates and job interviews have a lot of common things because as while going on dates you are worried that what you should wear, how you should talk, what you should do to make yourself worth and likeable and same is the case with job interviews. As when you go for interview for any jobs in Pakistan and jobs in Lahore then you are expecting that you will be hired by this company and may be you will spend one, two or may be more years with them and same is with blind dates as if this goes successful then maybe you end up marrying that person and spend the rest of life with them.
The most important thing here is how you sell your personality and what really going to matter here on your job interview as well as at your blind date is how you impress the other person with your personality as they both have known you, interviewer have seen your CV and your date knows you through some friend that is why they decided to meet you. It's really important that you don't talk much about yourself and don't make this all about you but rather ask questions or show the other party that you have research about them and you are really interested to work with them and see them.
As date or interviewee, your job is to make them want you so you have to do it right by demonstrating your best and greater qualities. You should have a flexible personality as if your personality is not getting you a job then it's the time to change your personality. Learning new thing always helps and makes us successful in our lives and helps us to grow.
Don't hesitate or lie about your failures as nobody is perfect so whether on date or while interviewing it's important that you talk about your difficult and insurmountable task and how you succeeded in that situation. Tell story about successes as well as about failing and what you learn from them.
You can take cues from the other side as is if they are serious then you should be serious too but if they are friendly then you should also be friendly. What really matter here and what every interviewee should remember that don't be terrified from the interviews as you are also there to interview the company as what they really have to offer you.
Don't be desperate as it will really ruin the mood of your date as well as your interviewer. It's fine that you want that job in Lahore but usually desperation ends up backfiring. The interviewer/your date thanks you for coming and says they will call but they did not for few days but wait as may be they are busy or they have lost your number. Act casual and after few weeks you can send them email asking how they are and Say how much you enjoyed meeting them.
