- 1). On your MySpace home screen, find the "Applications" link. This is located in one of two places: a) the left pane of your screen, below your picture, or b) the main menu. Click on "Get Apps."
- 2). When the Apps screen appears, look for Mobsters by the Godfather. If it is not listed at the top of the screen as a featured app, use the search box to the upper right side of the screen to find it.
- 3). Click on the application to select it, then click on "Add App." This adds the game link to your page.
- 1). Create a name for your mob. This name cannot be changed, so choose wisely. Once you've typed in the name you wish to use, click "Choose." The application will check to see if the name is already taken, as each player's mob name must be unique.
- 2). Choose your mobster class (what type of mobster character you would like to be). "Insomniacs" are able to acquire energy faster, which means they can do missions more quickly. "Bulletproofs" heal faster, and are therefore able to fight more frequently. "Tycoons" are able to accumulate money faster.
- 3). Invite some friends to your mob, or accept invitations from others. The more members your mob has, the more attack and defense power you have. This is increasingly important as you move up through levels in the game.
- 1). Your character will be given 100 health points, 10 energy points, and $2K in cash. Familiarize yourself with the "Equipment" and "Missions" screens. The links to these pages can be found at the top of your main screen, under the Mobsters banner.
- 2). Use the cash you've been given to buy the necessary equipment to complete the lowest-level missions.
- 3). Complete a mission or two, carefully paying attention to how much energy you use and how much money you earn. W\hen your energy runs out, you must wait until it regenerates before you can do another mission.
- 4). If you choose to fight instead, pay attention to your stamina points. If you have plenty of stamina but not enough energy to complete a mission, attack another mob and try to steal its money by clicking on the "Fight" link across the main menu. Select a mob with very few members and attack it. You can size up their stats before attacking by clicking their mob name. That will take you to the page where all their weapons and properties are listed. Remember that each weapon you purchase has a specific defense and attack worth. Compare yours to someone else's before attacking if you really want to win the fight.
- 5). Deposit any money you earn from missions and fights into the bank. The only caveat is that deposits must be made in $1,000 increments.
- 6). Monitor your experience points as you move through missions. These can be found by clicking on "My Mobster" on the main menu bar. Experience points are what moves you up from one level to another. Once you have completed a level, you will be given 3 experience points to use, increasing your max alloted energy, stamina, health, defense power and attack power. Again, these values can be found under the "My Mobster" link.
- 1). Review the "Territory" screen. The properties are broken down into two categories: Undeveloped Land and Establishments. The establishments must be built on undeveloped land, so purchase the land first, then the establishment.
- 2). When you purchase the establishment, your undeveloped land will go away, as it is now considered part of the establishment property. Note that after you purchase land or an establishment, the value of the property goes up. In this manner, it appreciates. You will immediately begin earning the income amount noted alongside the property. Generally, income is earned every 55 minutes.
- 3). Sell some of your property, if necessary, to raise the cash to purchase more valuable property with higher rates of income.
