A whimsical "pothead" figure in the Hamilton Children's Garden at the San Diego Botanic Garden (formerly Quail Gardens) sports a full head of velevety-soft Kalanchoe tomentosa. The common names for this kalanchoe are 'Fuzzy Wuzzy,' 'Panda Plant,' and 'Pussy Ears' - all guaranteed to make children giggle. The Hamilton Children's Garden opened in June 2009 and is the largest interactive children's garden on the West Coast of the United States.
