How to Find the Best Movie Theaters in Queens, New York

    • 1). Check out United Artists Kaufman Astoria Stadium 14. Located right in the middle of Astoria, this large movie theater has the advantage of being located right by all the shops and restaurants of bustling Steinway Street. This is an excellent movie theater, because it is large and always has an excellent selection of the newest movies. Also, the theaters are large and spacious, and the food selection is wonderful. This is a fun place to see a movie on a night out with friends.

    • 2). Visit Center Cinema 5 in Sunnyside. This movie theater is located in Sunnyside, a vibrant Irish-American neighborhood bordering Astoria and Woodside. It is a rather small theater, but the convenience of location makes up for that. It's located by a plethora of interesting shops, restaurants, and supermarkets, and the theater is clean, well-kept and has a nice atmosphere.

    • 3). Go to Regal Atlas Park Stadium 8 on Cooper Avenue. Located in Glendale, Queens, amidst the stylish landscape of the Shops at Atlas Park, this is a clean, attractive, and large theater where you can catch all of the most exciting new films out. There are a lot of screens available at this theater, so customers always have a wonderful selection of movies to choose from. This is a great and relaxing place to catch a flick.

    • 4). Catch a movie at the Continental Theater in Forest Hills. On exciting and fashionable Austin Street (something of an outdoor mall), there is the wonderful Continental Theater, which is a clean and convenient place to watch a movie after a long day of shopping or hanging out on Austin Street.

    • 5). Watch a movie at United Artists Midway Stadium 9 in Forest Hills. This theater is on busy Queens Boulevard in the elegant and stylish neighborhood of Forest Hills. This is a great alternative to checking out flicks at the Continental Theater on Austin Street, because although the two theaters are very close together in distance, they are always playing different movies. This is also a great place to unwind after dinner or shopping on Austin Street.
