DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park

Located on the West Side of Downtown Disney, DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park offers five floors of a state-of-the-art, interactive theme park for children and adults. DisneyQuest provides visitors with advanced technology video games, virtual reality and 3D attractions as well as theme park rides. Attractions include CyberSpace Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean-Battle for Buccaneer Gold, Buzz Lightyear's Astroblasters and the Virtual Jungle Cruise, to name a few. The cost for DisneyQuest is $35.00 to 41.00 per person.

On a rainy day, Orlando visitors can enjoy the Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament Show, which is located in a castle a few minutes outside of Orlando in Kissimmee. Guests will attend an 11th-century display of knights on horseback jousting matches and tournament games. While enjoying the show, visitors will feast on a four-course dinner reminiscent of the era. Ticket prices range from $38.95 for children younger than 12 and $59.95 for adults, with increased prices for special packages.

Somewhat removed from the heavily populated tourist areas, the Orlando Science Center offers families the opportunity for hands-on, interactive learning with exhibits, special presentations and other science amenities. Visitors can see reptiles up close, view prehistoric exhibits, visit the Crosby Observatory and watch informative films on the eight-story screen in the Dr. Phillips CineDome. Children can take advantage of fun activities in the Science Center's popular Kids Town. Admission ranges from $12.00 for children to $17.00 for adults.

A unique building that appears as if it is has partially fallen into a sinkhole, Ripley's Believe it or Not Odditorium offers Orlando visitors the chance to see unique artifacts, odd collections and other interesting exhibits in 16 galleries. A two-headed calf, a Rolls Royce made out of matchsticks and shrunken heads are just a few of the strange exhibits on display at the Odditorium, which is located on International Drive in Orlando. Admission is $11.95 for children under 12 and $18.95 for adults.
