- 1). Drive a wooden post at either end of your row of blackberries, burying the bottom of the post 2 feet into the ground. Place the post driver over the top of the posts and, holding the handles, use an up and down pounding motion to drive into the ground.
- 2). Drive additional metal stakes every 5 feet between the posts, as necessary, to support longer rows of blackberry vines.
- 3). Wrap three horizontal rows of wire between the posts and stakes. The lowest should be 3 feet off the ground, while the upper two are 1 foot apart.
