the whole point of using Attraction Marketing for MLM is to make life easier right? When I was a young lad I would often go fishing.
My grandparents lived in a seaside town called Forster in northern New South Wales.
The town sat between the ocean and beautiful lakes that went for miles.
The entry point between the ocean and the lakes was a breakwater.
I used to walk out there sit at the end and through in my fishing line.
I was using a standard fishing line with one hook, one sinker and one piece of bait.
Somedays I would sit there all day waiting to just get a little bit of interest from a prospect ( whoops I mean a 'fish').
Often if I got a bite I would try to hard to land the fish and it would often get away.
This was extremely frustrating.
Now of course from time to time I would always manage to catch a fish or two ...
just not enough to build a business from.
What I found so frustrating though, and maybe you have experienced this, is that I knew that there was an abundance of fat juicy fish swimming all around me.
Its just that the ocean was so vast the chances of them swimming by my bait and hook at the exact moment they were hungry was fairly slim.
So there I was ...
enthusiastic and passionate.
I was willing to put the effort in and be patient.
I had good bait ...
I got a few nibbles.
I just didn't catch many fish.
Eventually I felt like quitting and giving up.
Then one day an old Italian man went by.
He could see that I was obviously upset and frustrated.
He asked me what the matter was and I explained that as hard as I try I just couldn't seem to catch many fish.
He explained to me that the reason why is because I was fishing were there was an occasional fish swimming by.
If I wanted to catch more fish I should go to where there was schools of fish.
He said find out where fish are gathering together by their thousands and fish there.
With that he walked off and I didn't think I would see him again.
Then about half an hour later I saw the old italian man go by in a little dingy boat.
He went out about a kilometer off share and cast a net.
He started pulling in fish by the hundreds.
Hhhmmm I thought ...
next time I go fishing I am going to go where the fish are and take a net.
