Automatic Responder - Real-World Advice

Using an automatic responder to keep in touch with people who have visited your website is one of the staples to getting an effective online business up and running.
Getting that website traffic is difficult enough so why not capture information from those site visitors who show interest in what you have to offer? Most people will take a split-second to decide whether or not they want to continue hearing from you.
And they'll base this information on what they see on your site.
If they aren't interested, they'll just move on to something else.
For that single split-second moment when that prospect is deciding what to do on your site, you MUST have something that will capture that site visitors attention and you MUST have a way to follow up with that visitor once they've indicated that they're interested in what you have to offer.

Once you've captured a site visitors attention, and they've indicated that they want to hear more from you by filling in your opt-in form for your auto responder, it's your job to get information in front of that prospect as often as you can.
In today's world there are a multitude of distractions! Kids have to go to ballgames, grocery shopping needs to be done, there are plenty of in-home projects that need to be accomplished, and so much more.
Once that prospect sits down at their computer; likely after an exhausting day, it's your job to use that automatic responder so that they have something there waiting for them in their email when they do.

You can essentially "set it and forget it" by pre-populating emails that go out to your prospects on a continuous basis.
Here's how they work: Autoresponders will automatically send out an email to anyone who has opted in to your list.
And they'll continue to do this on a regular basis for you.
It just depends on how many pre-written emails you've loaded up into your auto-responder program.
You write the emails ahead of time and then set up your autoresponder so that these emails head to the subscribers inbox on a schedule that you personally determine.
Aside from the benefits of having these messages automatically sent for you, there are many more advantages to using an auto-responder program:
  • You can personalize your messages with your prospects names.
  • You can send in both text and HTML.
  • They're affordable.
  • An "unsubscribe" link is automatically located at the end of every email you send out.
  • You aren't just limited to sending messages on a pre-determined basis.
    You can also send out what's called a "broadcast" message at any time you wish.
  • You can set up the links within each message so that they're tracked; giving you an intimate view of which messages were the most successful.
An online business simply cannot survive without the use of an automatic responder.
It is your one way to keep in contact with people who REALLY want to hear from you!
