Macro Photography Art Tips

There has been a lot of talk about macro photography and how it fits into the world of digital photography. Many serious photographers have already invested the hundreds or thousands of dollars it takes to own a quality digital SLR camera with lots of extra lenses, but what about the rest of us? The good news is that it is possible to get some great macro shots even with a relatively inexpensive digital point and shoot camera. While those shots may not be selected for the next gallery opening, they can be quite impressive indeed. Many amateur photographers have created some wonderful images using this method, and eliminating the need for an expensive digital SLR is certainly a plus. The first step to getting those great shots is to become familiar with your digital camera. These days even the most affordable digital cameras often come packed with features, but many of those features will go unused.
