- 1). Buy a SIM card reading device (see Resource links). This comes with a CD-Rom, a USB connector and a card reader that allows you to connect your computer and your SIM.
- 2). Turn your computer on and put the CD-Rom that came with it into the computer. You will be asked if you wish to install the application and the drivers. Click "Yes" and "Next" and wait for the program to install. Restart your computer.
- 3). Turn your PDA off and take out the SIM card. This is usually located underneath the battery.
- 4). Plug the SIM card into the reading device and then connect the device into the USB port on your computer. Wait for your operating system to recognize the device and install the correct drivers.
- 5). Go to the "Start Menu" on your computer and open up the application that you installed earlier. Go to "File" and choose the data that you wish to download. You can select from contacts, text messages, emails and photos.
